I chose this dvd for my handicapped son, who loves watching it. He is 46 and remembers it from his childhood.

5.0 out of 5 stars Demons sure aint dull!! 8 July 2004
By R.S.ii
Format:VHS Tape
AH nothing brings a stroll down memory lane than getting this cartoon . danger mouse was a big part of my childhood growing up until the show got cancelled. but i still can buy it on video i have 3 of the 5 videos released in the United States and i special order this one from th UK even though i had to pay double for it.in pounds from U.S. dollars it was still worth it, then i had to get it coverted over from the PAl-format because it didn't work in mt VCR. But now its all done and converted and i can't put it down danger mouse is the hero for all ages!!pure quality cartooning . better still than most of the cartoons out today airing..6 action packed episodes my favorite is "DEMONS AREN'T DULL" i liked the beginning of the episode where David Jason (narrator)was giving a speech about possible life forms out in space..i love the special graphics and special effects they put on the demon eveytime he appeared, prettyy cool for a 1983 cartoon.. HE gave Danger mouse a run for his money, but danger mouse tricks him at the end and saves The world....Again that's why i gave it 5 stars,so sit back with your milk and cookies and take a strool down memory lane. with Dm and penfold, enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars He's the ace - amazing! 7 Dec 2001
By A Customer
Format:VHS Tape
This is what made being a kid in the 80s worthwhile. And after missing Dangermouse for so long (well, it WAS screened, but only in Gaelic, of which I speak about a dozen words badly), this was pure Heaven. Buy it, I implore you! Get all the gags and references you missed 15 years ago (there'll be a lot), and wallow in the most inspired silliness since the Goon Show (and yes, I know that means putting it above the Pythons). (Re references: yes, Agent 57 is "as in Heinz 57" because of the variety of his disguises, but it's no coincidence that Nayland Smith in the Fu Manchu novels was Agent 56. OK, so you got him living on Baker Street and his nemesis stroking a white caterpillar, but you're not so smart, are you? As Nero would say, heh heh heh - only higher and squeakier than that.) Dangermouse - Powerhouse! - He's the greatest secret agent in the world!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Golden Oldie 25 Dec 2002
Format:DVD
Danger Mouse - Wherever there is danger he'll be there! The cool, swarve and debonaire rodent detective has now been immortalised in the digital glory he deserves! Featuring 8 fantastic episodes consisting of highly sophisticated yet witty humour, Danger Mouse -who was loved by many in his time but sadly long forgotten by most today- boldly makes an admirable attempt to capture the hearts of both the young and (slightly) older communities today!
A well-featured disc but could have been mastered much better. Deserves it's marks not by presentation but by content.
