I really love these characters and its great to see them back. They really are all the action films you've seen rolled into one; James Bond meets Lara Croft. The stories really zip along accompanied with great artwork. I have no problem in recommending this or the previous stories. I can read them again and again.

Good story. The debut of a new DG and people from Abbey's past take part in this. 25 Dec. 2013
By Tony Eugene Arthur - Published on
Format: Paperback
"Danger Girl" is one of my favorite comic series for a number of reasons. Attractive female leads, good storylines, good action sequences and of course, at times, some good humor in them, even though I can admit that some of the other comics of this series are a little more serious than needed.

What I have to say is that it's a good thing we finally have a trio of the Danger Girl team. Don't get me wrong, even when I read "Body Shots" and "Back In Black," as well as the one-shots that are in "Destination Danger," Abbey and Sydney are a good duo, even with extra help from one-time characters (Like Ruby from "Back In Black" or JC from the video game) or even with the help of Johnny Barracuda, but I feel that the team should be a trio even after the first series when Natalia was a member (Before the big twist).

Anyway, onto the story. The Danger Girls are to retrieve some ancient Peruvian artifact with the help of Nathan Wilde, the ex-fiance of Abbey. There was a good little back-story for the two former lovers and what they went through. What I liked was at the end, it showed that old feelings were still there with each other. Also, Sonya Savage appears, and you guessed it, she is the sister of Sydney. She helps the Danger Girls and Nathan try to retrieve the artifact. Abbey even enlists the help of an old adversary in Donavin Conrad, who I thought was dead after the original "Danger Girl" story.

It's a good story. It has some decent artwork, though looks a LITTLE cartoony in comparison to other DG stories. I still recommend this book. Peace.
New DG Team Member 7 Oct. 2012

Danger Girl: Revolver is a return to a single story-arc adventure with uniform artwork. Most exciting of all, the book introduces Sonya, as a new member to the Danger Girls. The new gal-pal is a modern-day Artemis and a bounty hunter to boot. In Revolver, hey attempt to thwart a cabal of art thieves and return an artifact to a poor South American village. It's a fun story, but what I liked most about this adventure (besides the artwork) are the glimpses of pre-Danger Girl backstory involving some of the characters and villains.
This was a fun diversion from everyday life 9 Nov. 2014

This was a fun diversion from everyday life. I think the story would have benefited from being a little longer; more detail would be nice, but over all it was enjoyable. The artwork is reminiscent of J. Scott Campbell's but more simplistic, cartoonish. Campbell did some cover art for this mini-series, so he isn't completely missing from this collection. I recommend Revolver to anyone looking for something fun, that doesn't take itself too seriously.

The story is solid, but a bit too short. That being said it is still a fun ride and well worth reading.
