My daughter has all the Fame School books and she absolutely loves them. Marmalade gets a place in a pop music video but at the same time he signed up to organise the school dance. They need to think of a Theme and in the music video they are dressed as builders. He suggests this to his friend but the girls are not impressed as they want to where dresses and the guys have already rented out suits. A great book with great ending. My daughter reads these books over and over. I also contacted Cindy Jefferies to see if there were any writing workshops available for kids as my daughter writes all the time and Cindy personally replied ! She seems like a very nice lady.
