Everybody move your feet--it's time for fun: whether you're a beginner, a fanatic or looking for a new exercise routine, Dancing Stage MegaMix, which features tracks by Kylie Minogue, Sugababes, Elvis vs JXL and the Cure, is going to be an enjoyable addition to your PS2 collection. This bundle also contains a Logic Three dance mat.
There are three modes of play--Game, Workout and Lesson. Game Mode allows you to choose to play the arcade version (one player), a two-player challenge or, for the truly gifted, there's Double-game play--one player, two dance mats. With an incredible choice of tracks and some inspirational cheering ("You're a super dancer!") from the voice-over guy you'll have danced yourself dizzy in no time. Bonuses are awarded for free-style moves, with additional tracks and hidden items unlocked as the game progresses.
Got no rhythm? Are you a dance mat beginner? Check yourself into Lesson Mode--with three lessons comprising eight separate sections you should master dance-mat basics and get yourself familiar with some moves and sequences within an hour. Or if you're after an alternative to sweating it out in the gym or jogging the same streets, try Workout Mode--set your own goals, choose your work-out type and watch the calorie counter ticking over.
Dancing Stage MegaMix is for everyone--with dancefloor favourites from Kylie and Elvis vs JXL, and younger audience tracks such as S Club Junior's "One Step Closer" (as well as the Cure's "Love Cats" for anyone who may claim not to like pop music), no-one will be able resist getting footloose. We bought this game, along with 2 dancemats for our daughters 9th birthday & I must say, its one of the best presents we ever got her. The songs are great, lots of choice for beginners. The day of her birthday we played on it for hours. I love the workout mode as I feel that at least I'm doing some exercise. Be prepared to sweat lots & have lots of laughs. I'm so addicted that I now use it while my daughter is in school!!
I would recommend this game to both young & old who have a sense of fun & don't take themselves too seriously. I can't wait for the next edition to be released.

Dance Stage Megamix will keep you boogie-ing down for months to come. I reccomend you buy another mat as two-player games are twice the fun. As you blast out the hits from today, dance to the commands on the screen. The better timing - the better score. A grade is given for your efforts after each round, and every song is a challenging task.
This game is PERFECT for party's, or generally anyone coming over. Become a challenging oponent for your friends or family.
Another great thing about this game is that anyone can play, children, tennagers, and adults can have a good laugh too. You can come back to this game at anytime and cheer yourself up - it's the only game ever that has this ability.
If you don't have the game - buy it! Even if your not sure, you'll be amazed at the result.

Move the furniture out of the way, take the pets into another room, turn up the volume and prepare to sweat buckets! This game is so addictive, with a training mode to gently break new players in and beginner steps on all the songs (including the unlockable track). No-one has an excuse not to try it, but I'd strongly advise getting it with the bundled Logic3 dance mats (Get 2!), I've used the cheap plastic mats that most shops hold and they don't last 5 minutes and are not as responsive. The Logic3 pads are as good as playing in the arcade and have plenty of padding to help cushion your feet which means you'll be able to play for longer.
My only problems with the game itself is a lack of tracks from the Dancing Stage arcade machines and only a few offering from the Japanese and US versions of the game and finally the background videos can put you off your steps but they can be turned off.

I think this game has had a massive improvement on the other dancing stage games, but that is probably because it has finally made the glorious leap to ps2. Read more
