just loved this film for the sheer 'happy ever afterness' for a working girl. Big pulling factor was the music too (don't you just love Steve Harley - come up and see me, make me smile)and, of course, Dancing Queen. Fantastic dresses on HBC.
I have just watched this video 16 years after the film was made, it was a good evenings entertainment. The Neil charactor is more believable than the Pandora character (most people I have met with that amount of confidence are on some drug); this is one of the problems when men write parts for women. The main thing which struck me about the film was the no expenses spared type production for a film which was for just a bit of fun. Seemed a bit of a waste. What I am saying is the story line was a bit thin. Not a film which was going to make you ask lots of searching questions, but good to help you wind down after a days work
