It may be that you missed Series 5 and don't know the outcome, or that you did see it but were hoping to experience afresh the struggle of each contender towards the Final and the victory of the eventual winner. To spare you any unnecessary anguish, the producers of this DVD tell you a mere 2 minutes and 39 seconds into this compilation who the champion will be. If you don't want to know the result quite so soon, turn down the sound and look away now. If you read the small print on the box, something that you can't do when you're buying online, these are HIGHLIGHTS. The editing manages to lose all but the very last drops of the adrenalin and real danger of the live show. You'll only get glimpses of what a superb job Philip Schofield does of holding it together. Nothing wrong with his commmentary on this compilation, but it's been recorded and added in such a way that it stands quite apart from the live studio sound so that it sounds like it doesn't belong at all. The craft skills on the live show - lighting cameras costume sound were first rate. On the longer sequences later on in the compilation, including the full first performance of the terrific "Jai Ho", you will get a sense of how well everything came together on this show. But that's all.
