5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely worth reading !, 18 July 2003
This review is from: Dancing with the Devil: Survival for Healers and Therapists (Paperback)
As a Reiki Master taught under the classic ways, this book was like a breath of fresh air. Don't let it put you off Reiki, but it does fill in several of the holes left by classic teachings, which are due to errors in transmission of Dr Usui's great revelations to the Western world
Add 'Lost Steps of Reiki' and you are far better equipped to understand what Reiki is truly all about.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-read for anyone doing psychic development, 15 Sep 2002

This review is from: Dancing with the Devil: Survival for Healers and Therapists (Paperback)
I was drawn to read this book as I have found that many people who are in the process of developing as psychics are also in denial of a dark side. This is akin to saying 'If I don't believe in rain, I won't get wet!'
David Ashworth tackles this difficult subject in a sensitive and hugely informative way. He is a Reiki Master (among other things) and his thoughts on the way Reiki is passed on today are well worth reading, especially for anyone who is thinking of taking up Reiki. Please do get your Reiki attunements - but read David's book first!! He is full of good advice and obviously knows his subject inside out.
He tackles the almost taboo subject of negative energies with sense and respect. Reading it is not alarming, but enough to shock you out of any complacency regarding your own level of protection. Please, please do yourselves a favour and get this book!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Take this with a very big pinch of salt, 4 May 2003
By
John Davies (Northwich, Cheshire England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dancing with the Devil: Survival for Healers and Therapists (Paperback)
This is a book about psychic protection for lightworkers and as such it should be required reading for all lightworkers. I agree with David Ashworth that this is a subject that needs to be covered more thouroughly. However, this books paints a dark picture where everyone is under attack. I would recommend that all lightworkers read this book, but read it from the heart, and where something does not resonate with you, it will bring out your truth. I feel that David has a great calling to work with people and places under attack, but it has put him in a reality where everyone is like his clients, and that is not the reality I am in.
