Reawakening your creative spiritHi Amazon readers, The title "Dancing Corn Dogs in the Night" describes a memory from my childhood of the animated snackbar commercial that played before the main feature at the drive-in movies. We all have images in our mind from our childhood — images of family, of friends — all from a time early in our life when we literally oozed with creativity. As an adult, somehow we've lost some of the inborn zeal to create that is the core of every human spirit. "Dancing Corn Dogs in the Night" is a collection of stories and observations meant to incite your creative spirit.
The book explores the stories of the heartache and triumph of the creative spirit, the forces and fears that drive us to contribute to the human project — to give up our spectator status in life and be a full fledged participant in the game of creation. It tells the story of creativity not in a serious or academic way — there are plenty of books that accomplish that — but in an unorthodox and occasionally irreverent way that will challenge the reader to look deeper into the hopes and dreams of their own creative life.
