Format: Paperback
The Maxwell twins fled town, our resident Goth and Vampire wanna be Raven and her Prince of the Night Alexander has finally free of stress - not!. Young brother of the Maxwell twins -Valentine decided to show up. Is he as evil as his older brother Jagger? What exactly is his plan for Raven's own - Billy?
While Schreiber like to call Alexander our resident vampire, he still remains the less appealing character in this book. I am bored reading the parts that he's in it, unless it involves the sly Trevor. When Alexander's said Trevor is more like a vampire than him. I agreed. No kidding. Alexander's character needs to step up, I am beginning to think of him as a loser and rooting more on Trevor-Raven angst.
Text to Text connection. I would connect this to the book Eclipsed. It kind of reminded me about how Victoria was taking revenge because Edward killed her mate. This is sort of similar because Valentine is taking revenge on them because Alexander refused to be bonded to his sister.

DANCE WITH A VAMPIRE continues the tale of Raven, the outcast, and her hottie boyfriend, Alexander.

They have just defeated the two sibling vampires threatening both their town and their relationship. They're now ready to relax together when Valentine arrives.

Valentine befriends Raven's younger brother, Billy, and suddenly she's very protective of her little brother.

Valentine has the ability to read the innermost thoughts of someone's mind once he touches them. He knows that Raven's not ready to become a vampire.

Ellen Schreiber writes another great tale in this saga -- so well that readers will want to sink their teeth into the VAMPIRE KISSES series.

Excellent vampire book 4 July 2007
By Jessica C. Bullock - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Vampire Kisses 4: Dance with a Vampire starts off right where the 3rd one left off. Alex and Raven are still in search for Valantine mixed in with trying to go to prom and Raven trying to keep everything that's going on a secret. I could hardly put the book down from the time I got it. I just finished it and It's almost 2 a.m. as I am writing this so there's an example of how good it is.

The only thing I have to complain about his her writing style. I understand it's more of a preteen series, but her writing is rather Juvenille. Some of the ways she writes particular things could be worded better to reach a wider audience. But other than that, the book was excellent. I just hope they make a 5th one. But I recommened that anyone over the age of 10-11ish to read the series. It's one that shouldnt be left out of your collection.

Goth Girl Growing Up 31 July 2008
By Renee C. Mulhare - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
The tone of this fourth installment in the series is a little different, and while our goth-girl heroine, sharp-tongued Raven Madison, might be juggling her qualms and excitement over the junior prom with helping her "knight of the night" Alexander trace an especially tricksy young vampire named Valentine (who has his fangs set on her geeky younger brother), she's clearly growing up and reaching that stage where she's starting to question herself, the persona she's established, and her own place in the world. You get the feeling she's growing past the "kindergothen" stage and into the deeper aspect of the Goth mentality, going from a consumer of Goth kitsch to a person unafraid to stare down the dark things that the average person tends to shuffle past, whistling. She's even questioning if she's really meant to be Alexander's true vampire-mate, and while I felt a little let-down at the cliff-hanger end, I'm still looking forward to seeing where she goes and where her self-awareness takes her and her relationship with Alexander.

Thirsting for More 23 Nov 2007
By K. Williams - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
This book was definitely not what I had expected, but proved itself to be a book that you will realy want to sink your teeth into. Unlike most series, each book starts where rite at the point the last one ended. The end of the book left me antagonized knowing that I have to wait almost a year for the next book, just to find out what happes between the two teens we have all come to love. I would not recomend reading this book until the fifth book becomes available.

very tweeny 23 Oct 2008
By nguyen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I am still on a twilight kick and sought out other series to "quench" my need. This series is very innocent but does not appeal to all age groups. Entertaining but if I wasn't on such a kick, I don't think I would of taken the suggestion of following this series. But,of course, I have to finish the series and ordered the last book of the series.
