Prepare to make some noise with the Dance: UK Mini 2.1 Speaker System, a powerful yet compact 2.1 unit that comprises a small pair of speakers (for normal stereo sound) and a subwoofer (amplifier/bass). The sound will explode from your television and bounce around the room.

Designed for use with the Dance:UK console games and fully compatible with PS2 and PSone consoles, it can also be used with other consoles, as well as PCs and CD, MD and MP3 players. The satellite speakers are wall-mountable, but give a great, clear sound when used on a table top. Be advised that setting it all up can take a few minutes and a bit of patience--but it's worth it.

Whether used with dance games (for music or karaoke fun) or as additional speakers for the console, the sound quality is impressive. The Dance: UK 2.1 Mini Speaker System is translucent black with pink speaker grilles and Dance: UK logos and consists of a 5W (RMS) subwoofer with bass boost, two 2W (RMS) satellite speakers, a PS2/PSone connector and a UK power plug. The system has a 3.5 mm headphone connector so is also compatible with MP3 players, personal stereos, and CD players.

When I recieved the system, it was nicely packaged took me about 5 minutes to put it all together. The initial sound that came out when I first started them was pretty amazing for a tiny system (it's quite compact).

BUT and i mean a big BUT! DONT PRESS THE BASS BOOST BUTTON, it totally distorts and struggles at any volume level, the actual feature is useless.

Low volume levels are its maximum ability, it looks like a quick attempt than DANCE UK tried to make to match their dance mats. Bad move, you could've put some more effort guys, after all its supposed to be a 'PARTY SYSTEM'. Sorry to burst anyone who was interested's bubble but it's not anywhere near a 'PARTY SYSTEM'.

I gave mine to my little cousin and he's thrilled with it! Obviously sound quality, or distortion dont affect him, lol!

All in all, I would avoid this system if possible, unless your really desperate but even then there are better systems for the same price! Have a look at some entry-level systems from Creative, Labtec & Logitech

tbh i think this is a brilliant little system, i first got them from game in the sale and hooked them up to my tele for ps2 and television and was impressed, the sound quality is way better than what i expected :) i then got a better system for my tele so moved them onto my desk for my laptop and ipod and have used them for over a year now putting all genres of music through including dance, rock, pop, alternate everything and they always sound fantastic!
cracking buy well well worth the money :)
