Product Description

No dance film is safe as the hilariously funny spoof Dance Flick busts a move on to DVD. Bringing together the comedic talents of two generations of the Wayans family, the outrageous send up takes on recent dance films such as Step Up, Hairspray and High School Musical, classics including Flashdance and Fame, and even the teen vampire sensation Twilight. In Dance Flick, Thomas Uncles (Damon Wayans, Jr.), a young street dancer from the wrong side of the tracks, and Megan White (Shoshana Bush), a beautiful young woman who aspires to dance professionally, are brought together by their passion for dancing and put to the test in the mother of all dance battles. The Dance Flick extended cut features scenes not shown in cinemas, delivering even more outrageous comedy that audiences have come to expect from the Wayan Brothers. The disc boasts hilarious special features including ‘Dance Dance Dance! With the Wayans Wayans Wayans!’, dancing outtakes and deleted scenes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant entertainment 28 Mar 2010

Being a great fan of the Wayans brothers i had high hopes of this film and i was not disappointed. having seen all the films that they were taking off, i could really relate to it. it was very clever and extremely funny. if you have not seen the films they are taking the micky out of then you might not find it so amusing, but you would still laugh out loud at some of the scenes. apparently the whole Wayans clan were working on this movie, and it was very interesting to find out all about them in the extras.if you want a laugh and a bit of light hearted entertainment, this is your movie.

4.0 out of 5 stars Laugh out loud funny 25 Mar 2011
By Julie
I'm a big fan of the Wayans brothers anyway, so this review might be a bit biased! I was only meant to watch the start of it (just to make sure that it was funny) before taking it to my friend's DVD night... and I ended up watching the whole thing! It had me really laughing in parts and I just couldn't stop watching it.

FYI: The official Amazon review inexplicably fails to mention that the film is VERY heavily based on the storyline of Save The Last Dance. Just warning people because if you don't watch it first, you won't get the full of effect of what is being parodied... In summary, at this price it's a real bargain and hilarious to boot- go for it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not too shabby!
The packaging was lovely and when I opened it it was nicely wrapped. Film wasn't too amazing, it's one of those films where the funniest bits are included in the advert though. Read more
