This is a wonderful bilingual story about a historic dance in New Mexico. Enjoyable and educational. I high recommend this book!

Our neighbor gave us this book as a special present for Easter. We live in New Mexico and so for us this book was more meaningful than it might have been otherwise.
My children liked reading the English and then looking at the Spanish to try to figure out what each word might mean. This book is well written, sweetly innocent and easy to read.
It tells about a young girl who helps make Cascarones - eggs blown out and then filled with confetti. After the eggs are made they are taken to a dance where you ask the person you want to dance with you by breaking the egg over their head.

Well worth the money. Enjoy.
