Two years ago Dan Toombs decided to take his family and a culinary journey. He decided to cook and eat only Indian food for a full year and to date hasn’t stopped! Together Dan, his wife Caroline and their three children have worked together cooking both authentic and British Indian restaurant (BIR) meals each and every day.
Dan started posting his recipes and food pictures on his blog and before long was receiving invitations from top Indian chefs to visit their kitchens and to learn first hand their amazing recipes.
He has also been invited to speak and do cooking demonstrations at many of the most popular UK food shows including The World Curry Festival along side many of today’s top celebrity chefs. Dan and his family have also been featured in The Daily Mail, The Mirror and The People.
In Dan’s first book, ‘How To Make British Indian Restaurant (BIR) Style Meals’ you will be introduced to all of the curry house favourites. From chicken tikka masala to Chicken korma, Lamb vindaloo to lamb rogan josh, you’ll find them all. These are all home tested recipes that taste fantastic!
