The much misaligned and misunderstood Pan, often incorrectly believed to be the youngest of the gods and the only deity to have perished, returns with a vengeance. Armageddon approaches, but with one major ingredient missing. Without El, who is no more, there can be no second coming - no hope of salvation for humankind. Enter Pan. Enter a mystified young man from an orphanage. Enter the real world of tomorrow - our tomorrow. And enter all the Hell that awaits us!
Michael Knell was born in southeast London. In the nineteen-fifties he attended Peter Symonds Public Grammar School in Winchester, and over the subsequent years of a much varied lifetime he has written countless articles, both for magazines and online, winning several awards.
He retired to Blackpool in 2001 to continue writing, including now his more lengthy novellas and books for publication. Some of his articles, mostly political ones, appear online weekly under the title: 'The Bitch!', and between 2001 and 2008, they were attracting in excess of 100,000 readers on the gay directory website: AstaBGay, with an additional unknown number wherever they were syndicated.
His first book: The Forces Of Grey, a story of the occult, was published in 2002 - and later republished, in 2006, in better quality by another publisher. Since then there has been: The Elephant's Nest (2006); DAMON - The Providence Of Pan (2009); and Brotherly Matters (2010), which is a stand-alone sequel to The Elephant's Nest.
