After two decent but unspectacular instalments, Chapter 3 of Dalek Empire 3 finally kicks into high gear, as Briggs piles on the pressure for all the main characters, and introduces a couple of nasty twists...
The thread on Graxis Major is brought to a climax when the Daleks begin planet-forming, which leads to the remaining wardens making a do or die escape, and the addition of both the Daleks quisling undergoing a crisis of faith, and the fact that they have to leave one of their number on the hands of the Daleks makes this gripping stuff.
Meanwhile Galanar's undercover mission is the subject of a juicy twist when it's revealed that the character is not even human, and the Dalek Supreme makes it's move.
With Galanar failing to report back Siy Tarkov is once again pushed into action to uncover the threat of the Daleks, though another nasty twist concerning his newly discovered daughter leaves this on a cliffhanger...
And all of this is anchored by the segment with Selestru - as he watches his plans to convince the Galactic Union to take the threat of the Daleks seriously fall apart.
Great action, twists and cliffhangers make this third instalment the best chapter of Dalek Empire 3 thus far.
