from the start of cd1 to the end of cd2 this album is top draw soul both nothern and more mellow soul this is a must have cd for people who love soul....what an underated star

This is very disapointing as all the tracks on here are really good but the sound quality is poor and the version of my favourite track "is it something you got" is different and not as good!!

An excellent collection!,

Tyrone Davis was a wonderful soul singer from Chicago who recorded for Brunswick/Dakar Records during the late 60's thru the 70's. Tyrone had an excellent production machine which included Leo Graham, Sonny Sanders and Gerald Sims. His Arrangers included Sanders, Willie Henderson and Tom Washington. These people lit up the charts during this period garnering hit after hit. "Can I Change My Mind", "Turning Point", and all of these hits are included in this collection with excellent stereo remastering. Edsel Records is a British company that has done an excellent job of making available a large chunk of the Chicago soul artists. This collection is a bargain at 18 bucks.
