"Gray's instinct for irony goes hand in hand with Parsons' and Sharratt's senses of humour, making the book a worthy and hilarious successor to all the other Daisy books that are available. The book is great fun for reading aloud, or even on one's own" (Rudolf Loewenstein The School Librarian)

Daisy and the Troubel Kittens by is amizeng kes gray.Kes Gray is a brillent
writer and I think she is definetaly famous!

This book is about a girl called Daisy and she is always really naughty. This book starts in her house when her graandma give her mum soum money.Daisys mum decides to go to spain in a plane.Daisy meets lots of friends and she finds five cats.Daisy loves the cats so much that she brings them inside and in the morning Daisys mum wakes up and finds that five cats are in her bed and she gets fleas and has to go back home in a wheelchair.

I loved it when she was skiding along the sliprly flor and bumpt in to a man with coffee
and daisys mum had to buy him a coffee. When Daisy was really funny she said that hsr mum dribels.I loved it and so will you

This book is fantastic and I give it 10/10.This book is for 5 year olds but other chilledren might like it to.

5.0 out of 5 stars C'est magnifique! 15 May 2009
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
The Daisy and the trouble with kittens is a really great book! Daisy has her first holiday abroad on an "actual aeroplane" to Spain. She makes loads of new friends (but six are cute little furry kittens!) Daisy loves feeding them, playing with them but then she takes them into her hotel room to stay for the night and Daisy's mum is allergic to kittens...

Little girls will love this especially those who love holidays. It is funny as well as amusing. I would say this book is suitable for ages 6 plus.

5.0 out of 5 stars Daisy does it again! 25 Feb 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Fans of Daisy will love this book and my 8 year old daughter certainly did as Daisy takes off on her first holiday abroad and gets into her usual aray of scrapes. For my daughter these book are now a fairly easy read but she still loves them and revels in the disasters that follow Daisy and her long suffering (my words!) Mum where ever she goes. The largish text and numerous pictures make them a great first step into 'proper' books for any developing reader and the subject matter will appeal to girls of around 5-10 years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Daisy and the Trouble with Kittens 2 Aug 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
My six year old daughter is a great fan of Daisy - she began with the picture books and has since moved on to the chapter books. Daisy's mum has decided they need to go on holiday and so they are to go to Spain. Of course, Daisy is very excited and a good part of the book is about the holiday preparations, anticipation and travelling there. As it is now the summer holidays, this would be a great book if you are, perhaps, flying with your child for the first time - or if they are nervous flyers. The story has a lot of detail about what to expect, what happens at the airport and how thrilled Daisy is as she boards the plane. Once Daisy and her mum are in Spain, Daisy makes friends with other children on the resort and begins to explore. When she finds a stray cat, and her kittens, she embarks on a campaign to care for them with hilarious consequences.

This book is told in Daisy's own individual style and from her point of view. She is a very modern little girl and the situations in the books will be understood by her readers, who have undoubtedly encountered many of the same experiences. There are quite a lot of books in this series now, but, as far as my little girl is concerned, the author cannot write them quickly enough. Excellent and highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Purrrfect 30 May 2009
What another fantastic Daisy book. My 6 year old devoured it. These books have really encouraged her to read alone - the type is larger than normal, the vocabulary is just right and the stories are huge fun. I think they are hilarious. We have all 4 of the Daisy novels and are anxiously waiting for the next one already.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love kittens 21 Aug 2010
A Kid's Review
I am 7 and I was very excited about getting all the Daisy books but this is definately my favourite. Daisy loves kittens just like I do.
This book is a good book for children who can read but children might like people to read it to them as well. I like the big writing because it is easier to read. I like the way the person has drawn the pictures.

Granddaughter (5) and grandson (7) enjoyed this book and found it very funny. Part of a series so will be buying more. Good introduction to a book with few pictures. Could be read by an older child without help.

Good book for keeping the interest of a nine year old girl. No need to prompt her to read now, she just picks it up when she is at a loose end.
