Product Description

In this, the the third part in the compelling Daisy Chain trilogy we see love blossom
for our heroine, Lizzie Doyle, as she prepares to marry her childhood sweetheart, Pete Scanlon. For the younger generation, too, the past is never far behind; young Biddy Plunkett finds that a chance encounter with old flame, Anthony Quinn, changes her life for ever. And though John Doyle's long-lost father, Paul, is finally home with his wife and son, the trauma he has suffered since the war proves a bigger battle for Karen and John, and a new threat to the family’s happiness lurks in the wings . . .

But there is a happy ending, and a new beginning for the Doyle family, and their friends as the struggles and heartache of wartime look to be finally over . . .

After reading both 'Daisy Chain War' and 'Bread and Sugar', i was eager to read the third book in the trilogy, and it certainly didn't disappoint! Written in the same warm tone as the previous two books, it is an interesting read with a few little twists to the tale. The Doyles open up their home for holiday makers to earn some extra money for when they fly out to New York for Lizzie's wedding. Biddy Plunkett and Anthony Quinn fall into trouble when Biddy recieves startling news from the doctor, and a trip to the airport brings back Paul's memories of war. Laugh with this book, cry with this book, BUY THIS BOOK!

This book is GREAT 26 Feb 2006
I would totally reccomend this book, i love the love story between Pete and Lizzie and it actually made me cry at the end it was so good. I thought i would just let you know that this isnt the end of the series! Another book came out afterwards called 'Daisy Chain Days'. I came across it by accident and i was really surprised because i thought it was a trilogy. Anyway this book is the best! This series of books are all my favourites! so read them, you wont be dissaponted!

This book was very good but i think it still wasnt as good as daisy chain war. Personally i would have liked to have read more about Lizzie and Pete. This book still has the same charm as the other two books and some of the things that happen you deefinetly dont expext. If you like twists turns and a heartwarming story this book is definetly for you.
