This is the ONLY book in existence exclusively for Skeleton Crosswords which I am addicted to. It is so good that once I had finished it, I sent off for another copy and I am working through it again! I have tried in vain to get a copy of the Sunday Express version (ie Book 2) and was very disappointed to learn that it is no longer available. I live in hope of finding it somewhere at some stage...

I expected the skeleton puzzles to be similar to the ones in the Sunday Express but they are not. In the Sunday Express the puzzles are fully symetrical and in the puzzle book they can vary. However, I was very disappointed to see that the clues were occasionally general knowledge questions but more often, synonyms were required. In the Sunday Express ALL the clues are cryptic and much more challenging. Anyone planning to buy this book should note these big differences between both types of publication.

Excellent book. Skeletons are very addictive! Used to do these crosswords years ago but now cannot find them in the shops. Thank you Amazon.
