Have you ever seen a pig that can swim. This is all about a pig who thinks he might be able to fly, but ends up learning to swim.
My favourite character is Daggie because he is nice and interesting.
My favourite part is when Daggy learns to swim because he had staright legs and good kicking.
I would recommend this book to 8-9 year olds because it's adventurous and will make you laugh.

Dick King-Smith's witty style of writing has kept me hooked on his books for years. Daggie Dogfoot is a brilliant example. The accents he uses for the pigs, like Mrs Gobblespud and The Squire are fantastically humorous. The book is excellent.
