I wanted to put this review out there as I was the first unwitting customer in what seemed to be an awesome deal for under ten for a mouse pad, 10 digit calculator, and 3 port USB hub.
However, as there is nothing mentioning otherwise in the description, I generally assumed the product would be USB 2.0 as it has been more than 10 yrs since the USB 2.0 architecture has been in place.
This is important because at least technically USB 2.0 is 40x faster throughput of data and so any high speed devices (or really any modern USB device) like iPhones/iPods/Smartphones,USB removable drives will all work sub-par to their actual potential.
***BUT THE DEVICE IS USB 1.1 ARCHITECTURE***
Having said that, the idea of having a big calculator to work on any time, a perfect mouse pad for my Logitech MX Revolution mouse with a really cool blue neon-like glow, and ultimately 3 USB ports that do work for charging and data (even if they will be used sparingly with my least important USB-powered devices), the deal isn't all that bad.
Here's what you get:
*You get a fairly big digit display calculator with an independent on-off button and already installed independent power supply via an LR44 battery.
*3 USB 1.1 ports
*A long USB cable to attach to the computer which connects the USB hub and powers the blue glow (calculator will work w/o USB attached just no glow)
*A DC adapter pin socket which I cannot verify works or not (probably to power the blue glow w/o USB power).
I was originally thinking of returning it due to USB 1.1 speeds but for the price and the nice blue glow it gives off, it is still a great deal so I 'keeps it' for now.
