This is a good little fan for desk use. The speed adjustments are not great as it seems to be 3 setting; fast, slightly slower and off. However, it is good to have the option to switch the fan off without disconnecting from computer. Can also use batteries which is a bonus compared to other usb fans.

The blades on mine were quite curled up, and hence didn't move much air. I guess that's why several reviewers have mentioned poor air flow. Once I'd flattened/straightened them, it worked very well (on USB; I haven't tried batteries).
The adjustability is excellent, going from barely moving (and almost silent) to quite strong for such a small device.
The blades tend to curl up again, so need occasional rework. I might try gluing a stiffener to the edges.

Piece of junk 21 July 2010
By Mark
Plugged it in to my laptop USB port. Started working straight away. You have to hold it within an inch of your face to feel any kind of air movement. Then slowly it began to slow down and now it doesn't work. DO NO BUY. I would give it 0 stars if possible.
