Disappointing performance...,

This microwave cooker failed within minutes of testing out...i.e, the magnetron immediately blew and gave out. This was disappointing because it is a nice looking cooker which offers quite a number of features included on more expensive models. However, one can only conclude that inferior components are being used in its construction. A pity... but because of this I did not feel able to ask for a replacement...I am afraid this experience has rather put me off of the Daewoo brand.I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Amazon for their superb service...The cooker was delivered so promptly and the ensuing complaint - because of the complete breakdown - dealt with efficiently. The faulty cooker was collected for return within 24hours. Amazon's response to the telephone call informing them of the problem was amazing...my telephone number was taken and I was asked when I wished them to call me back....no hanging on the line listening to interminable musical jingles!! If only some of the other well known Companies would take a leaf out of Amazon's book.....(sigh!) Well done Amazon...your efficient service is appreciated. I have found this to be so on all of my dealings with this admirable organisation. Thank you!

Huge Disappointment,

Bought this appliance late last year from Amazon.Was immediately disappointed with the lack of features compared to my previous combi-ovens, but I guess you get what you pay for so I accepted that it was going to be fairly basic. The convection oven wasn't much good, things took much longer to cook than they should have done & the microwave wasn't much better. The end of programme alert is annoying in that it kept on going intermittently until you opened the oven door, so no chance of letting something 'rest' after cooking, without getting a headache/earache or both! Didn't use the grill much but it was ok. N.B. my comments are in the past tense as it blew up after 8 months. Daewoo customer service were appalling, however Amazon were fantastic in refunding me immediately after I returned it.

I was looking for a new nuking module and this appeared to be the cheapest available. I didn't want an oven or a grill or a combi oven/microwave but I would have paid 65 quid for a massive microwave with 900w anyway so why should I complain if I get all that thrown in?It has been a great product since I have had it. The first one I got, was a duff but the second one really is great. It has so many options and it also has a cleaning mechanism too. Really fantastic. At this price, I can't see anybody being disappointed and I think I will pay up to 120 for this if I wanted a combi oven and grill microwave and 80 if it was the microwave on it's own. Great product for the price then.
