5.0 out of 5 stars A God send!! I highly recommend this. 29 Oct 2010
This product is a hair oil and as you have read from the product description it contains:
Coconut oil
Neem,
Brahmi,
Amla
Bhera and Harar
Henna
Rosemary Oil
Lemon oil,

I started using this product as I developed a sensitive scalp therefore could not use traditional conditioners or hair treatments. You can buy this from any Indian grocery store for 2.99. I only use this once a week as the shampoo I use I found that I dont really need a conditioner. The product comes in a green bottle and appears to be solid. So I leave it in the microwave for fifteen seconds, and then it turns into a liquid. I apply it on my hair and scalp for at least a couple of hours.

A few hours later I wash it out with a shampoo. No need to use a conditioner after shampooing by the way. If you do you will find your hair is still very greasy despite washing.

Any how, the result from using vatika is that my hair seemed more soft, had more volume and had a deeper shine. I received alot of compliments from people next day asking if I had my hair done!! The ingredients in this hair are supposed to prevent grey hair and hair loss.I cant comment on whether this works on greying hair, but I think your supposed to use it for a while.
As for hair loss it is difficult for me to also say. I was losing alot of hair but that has stopped but I think that is mainly because I use Allergenics shampoo. Any way it is a great treatment for dry hair.

I have tried using alot of different hair oils and even have even tried making a mixture. After using this though, I am just going to stick to using Dabur Vatika as it is now my firm favourite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, great price! 17 Nov 2011

I can't believe this product- and like another reviewer at first I wasn't sure either! I have the sort of hair you don't see on the adverts- hard to do anything with it, fine but can be dry/frizzy, never really feels nice- very depressing! I've spent a fortune on hair products over the years (the manufacturers must be making a so much money out of us!) and I saw this, read a few reviews and bought it a while ago. I tried it once, leaving it on for ages and washing it out, but noticed no difference, and being impatient, having expected miracles I pushed it to the back of the shelf where it lurked: until last week. Finding myself again trawling amazon for a miracle hair product I read a few more reviews for the Vatika oil & thought I'd give it another try.
I was determined to stick with it this time! I warmed the bottle of oil in a jug of hot water to ensure it was liquid when I needed it & shampooed and rinsed my hair. Towelled dry, applied quite a bit of oil all over hair and popped on a shower cap before settling in front on the tv. Went to bed (still in shower cap!!) & showered and re washed hair next morning. My hair felt soft- actually silky (!) and the texture felt lovely, light. Blow dried & straightened as usual. I was feeling hopeful- good results this time and I could definitely feel a difference. Three days later I applied the oil again though this time I just left it on my hair for 3 hours before washing out. I'm amazed that my hair feels so much better. I haven't had compliments about it, my hair has never been my crowning glory so I'd feel embarrassed if suddenly people started to comment. BUT- i can feel a real difference and that's what matters. I know it's doing my hair some good! Feels soft, lovely texture & I'm going to keep using it. Can't believe how nice it feels.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing 22 Mar 2013
This is day 2, but after day 1 everyone was saying how nice my hair looked. I didn't do as the bottle said as I have a greasy scale & dry ends, but I managed to squeeze some of the solid cream out of the bottle & applied as a serum on the ends, but I have noticed a dramatic drop in the amount of hairs I've seen on my clothes, desk & bath after washing it. Will be looking into any other hair products they do as so much cheaper than any high st brand

Amazing product, highly recommended. Smells nice, very good ingredients, gives hair strength and shine. I tried some Vatika products before and all of them are really good, especially if your hair is weak and thin.
