The mount hardware (sucker, pivot, knuckle joint etc.) appear to be pretty well made, so far they tighten up fine and stay tight.
The material that the actual tab cradle itself is made out of appears to be 'standard' injection moulded plastic but having said that, there is no moulding marks and seems well trimmed etc.
so could have been a slightly higher quality than I have so far perceived it to be, but then I haven't broken it so far and I am deliberately not being heavy handed with it. Just because i only paid a tenner, doesn't mean I don't want it to last...
On the whole, for a tenner, I would say this is a bargain. I think if you treat your tenner's purchase fairly carefully, you'll get far more than a tenner's worth of service from this budget bit of kit.
And to me, that's what it it's about.
