This review refers to the above Duragadget home charger when used with the Mio Navman Spirit V735TV.
Pros: This is a compact, lightweight, inexpensive 'trickle' charger that can be used to keep your Mio Satnav battery topped up at home when the device is not in use.
Cons: This Duragadget Home Charger will NOT charge a Mio Navman Spirit V735TV whilst it is switched on and in TV mode. It only provides sufficient power to charge the V735TV battery with the Mio Satnav device switched off.
The output of this Duragadget charger is 5v at 500ma, whereas the requirement for the Mio V735TV is 5v at 2a. Therefore this charger only supplies one quarter of the required power to charge the battery and run the TV concurrently.
Conclusion: If you want a charger to top up your Mio Satnav battery when it is not in use in your vehicle, then this one does the trick and is value for money. However, if you want to watch the TV whilst it is being charged at home, then this is definitely NOT the one for you. Mio can provide a 5v, 2a charger, at a considerably greater cost, that will allow concurrent use of the TV whilst it is being charged.
