This is the first anime series i ever bought and its absolutely brilliant!!! I can barely stan the 2 month wait between volumes but its seriously worth it!! I would reccommend this to anyone new to anime and although its a romance I have a few male friends who are also into it. If you are even thinking about buying this DVD what are you waiting for!!! Trust me you'll be hooked.
The series starts of very lighthearted at firts but is steadily becoming more and more serious, but not so much that younger fans cannot enjoy it ( which is good for those of us with younger siblings ).
All in all a definate must buy.

The first of 7 volumes, the anime of the manga is for once way better than the original. The voice acting is superb and very close to the original Japanese, plus the animation is clean and well done.

It's very appropriately cast, too. Vic Mignonga's sexy voice really brings out the haughty, arrogant Dark and Kevin Corn is really good at protraying the bumbling, cute Daisuke...

The anime differs slightly to the manga, but the story is still believable and close to it so there's less confusion.

Daisuke gets rejected by the girl he loves on his 14th birthday and unknowingly triggers his 'love gene' which makes him transform into the Phantom Thief Dark who is notorious for breaking eharts as much as stealing great peices of artwork...!

Daisuke must now try to stay in control of his own body and win the heart of his true love if he ever wants to be normal again...

Watch this! It's a great starter series for an anime! I highly recommend it!

This first volume includes previews, opneing/closing animation and making of the theme...PLUS a great voice actor commentary from Mignonga and Corn! ^_^

a typical romance story, of an average boy and his love for a super cute, popular girl, but little known to anyone but his mother and grandpa, he is no ordinary boy, he is destined to be the worlds most daring (and devilishly handsome)phantom art thief called dark, its well worth looking at, the romance is contrasted buy the typical, fan-swingin', eyes-a-poppin', type scenes that are so popular in anime, and the battles between Dark and the police, so it seems that love may have to wait until dawn....... This is a very popular series so i suggest you watch it, ASAP!!!! Or i may get upset and throw a paddy!! Hahaha, peace =)
