Quality, I don't think so!,

Telegraph Paper recommended product. I was tired of pepper grinders not lasting, so went down the road of a quality one or so I thought.
Showed it to a mate who likes to cook a bit as well. He laughed and hoped I had better reliability with mine than he had after 5 sets of Cole and Mason fell apart and ground to a halt! soon after buying and were being sent back for replacements. He chose another manufacturer who I can't remember now, as I just couldn't believe they could be that bad and be in the top 10 recommended by the paper. All I can say is, he was 110% correct, mine lasted less than 2 weeks of family table use, and that user was one person, me, as my wife prefers the already ground white pepper. Result ? Returned for a refund. Thank You Amazon.

Buzz Buzz 2 in 1 - How long does it last?,

We purchased one in August 2007 and 2 adults have used it for an average of 1 meal each weekday and 4 meals over the weekend. After two years the mechanism for the pepper side of the mill has stopped working but the salt side is OK; and it is out of warranty (one year). During use it was quite powerful, batteries lasting at least 6 weeks on our usage but the controls to make the grind fine or coarse is not very good. The grinding mechanism is very robust but the internal drive does appear to be weak. Since I wrote this review I have written to Cole & Mason who make the product and their view is it is only warrantied for 12 months and after that time "As your mill is well out of guarantee I regret I am unable to assist you further."
