I was converted to DK Eyewitness Guides when I purchased one for New York and having got this guide to London I am equally impressed. In my opinion the guide contains all of the information anyone would need for a break in London. It talks about attractions in London area by area making it easy to plan what you are going to see or do each day and it has a easy to follow comparison of different restaurants and places to stay which allows to find places that match your budget. It also has practical information about travelling around the city and much more. The guide is also graphically rich and does well in keeping your interest. I definately recommend this!

As with all DK publications the illustrations are superb and the text informative and erudite. We live only 20 miles south of London and I spent 25 years commuting into the West End but we have never had the opportunity to really explore the world's No.1 city! In retirement we intend to be tourists and all tourists need a good guide book - this is it. I should knock off half a star because the eating sections can become quickly outdated but I can't bring myself to be so parsimonious.

I love these eyewitness books. Every time I book a trip I order one. London did not dissappoint, loads of facts and info ready for my trip. Even though I have been to London many times I still found lots of new info in this book and handy maps.

This is just part of the guide
The Kindle edition is not the full book. It says that contains 460+ pages, but, actually, is just a selection of it, and is about 50 pages only. They should advice customers....
