Everything that you need to know about Italy 25 Feb 2011

Best quality travel guide book just as the rest of Eyewitness travel books. It was delievered sooner than I expected. Includes overview of all the regions of Italy. Due to it's content it's a bit heavy but if you travel in different parts of Italy from big cities to small provinces, this books is all you need.

Great Travel Book 13 April 2012

This is a great travel book. I just got back from a week vacation to Rome. I got this as a gift and if I had my choice, I would have gotten the guide for Rome alone. However, this book still had a great deal of detail and helped me plan my trip. The pictures are beautiful and only served to heighten my enthusiasm to go. What really made the book great was the background information about the sites. I enjoyed site seeing so much more knowing the history and importance of the sites. The book also gives recommendations for places to stay and eat and a survival guide for your travels in Italy. I was impressed by the DK Eyewitness Travel series and will look for it on my next trip.

Product arrived on time, phew! Can't say this about other sellers we had tried to purchase from, however, this guide book is now our most prized possession for Italy, it has all the information we require covering all the areas that we need and relevant to our trip, historic detail, art, transport, restaurants and bars and much much more, invaluable information and helpful phrases and maps that where better than some locally produced. We usually use lonely planet guides but since getting this we have become big DK Eyewitness fans.
