handy format, wonderfully well illustrated, motivates you to want to see more. Strong on Budapest, quite good for the main towns and sights but a little thin on the countryside

The Eyewitness Travel Guide is by far the easiest to use and best travel guides on the market. They bring to life the locations with bright pictures well labeled for ease of understanding.

This book is great -- it has a lot of maps, pictures and advice. I found the book helpful in Budapest, but I also enjoyed reading it and looking at the pictures before and after the trip.
