Fantastic book. Great photos and lots of relevant information. The Rough Guide is more informative, but unless you are thinking about emigrating to Egypt, stick to this book, for all the information necessary for a holiday.

I bought this book in advance of a long awaited trip to Egypt in August.I browsed it a little before going but used it each day in advance of excursions along the Nile and in Cairo. It was a lifesaver in Cairo helping me find a foreign exchange office. It really is a useful book and I even reread each chapter when we had been on visits. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who is off to egypt soon. Prompt delivery in spite of xmas post. Arrived in perfect condidtion. Good informative book ideal to pop in your suitcase.

Love the DK Eyewitness Guides, plenty of photos, informative and clear explanations which are too long-winded, as always, very good!!!
