Is it possible to get a live feed of what you're filming, so you know what is being recorded and composition etc? 6 Oct 2014
Hi, yes it is. If you use the Go Pro Hero 3+ then you can stream live footage but not in ultra high resolution (I think 1024 is the highest). Two things note: 1. I did get some interference problems when doing this and lost control of the QC for a moment. I turned my iphone (which was streaming) into airplane mode in order to regain control. 2. Once you film live footage you might need a license to operate in some countries.
What kind of batteries does it use? 4 Mar 2014
It uses rechargeable Lipo batteries - these give a flight time of between 10 and 15 minutes. You can fit up t 3 batteries using extra cables and some side struts to give extra flight time but this does alter the flying characteristics a bit
Yes it is
About 2km. Watch my son's video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNUFAp3RYu8 - search for Tom Green Drone Ivinghoe if the link doesn't work. Don't do what he did and fly it off into the clouds on its first ever flight before having learned how to get it back! They are fantastic things.

whats the effective range and endurance 22 Oct 2014
I haven't done that much flying yet but have managed to fly it within about 100m radius ok. Not sure what you mean by endurance... battery life is about 15 mins of flight... I guess if you had lots of them you may be able to test endurance but I have not been able to do that yet. Sorry its not helpful. Perhaps I can add more once I have done more flying with it.
