Its hard to make a book like this - selecting impressive yet do-able projects. In order to do the projects you might have to be resourceful and improvise depending on what materials are available but its a great start to give you ideas and inspiration.

Not a bad book with really good instructions on how to build the furniture but unless you live in a Art installation or gallery these would look out of place in most homes. Good for getting a few ideas or if you want to make a center piece for the house or garden.

This book is a delight, full of really quirky, modern ideas by young designers with instructions on how to create them, everything from light fittings to shelves, but not one of them in any way 'normal' or boring.
