?!A waste of money. if your intention is to save on buying Batteries!?.,
I have tried charging four different sets of "AA"/"AAA" batteries with this charger and the built-in "Intelligent circuitry" has rejected at least half the Batteries tried to charge* even though these were fine in other chargers.,
"Pros";
At first glance this looks a well made product.?
However there are some major problems I encountered.? The supplied removeable "13Amp Mains Lead" had a very loose fitting "Moulded Charger/2Pin input-Plug"(Similar to those used by many "Mains/Portable Radios" etc.)that kept falling out of the Charger when attempting to insert into the Charger.
"Cons";
Charger constantly rejects perfectly "Good Batteries".,
I managed to charge a set of 2300mAh/AA Batteries in about 2Hours time. Then I attempted to charge a set of "Brand-new 600mAh/AAA Batteries" that had previously not been charged. and the result was that the charger decided to "Reject these as Faulty" and refused to charge.? I then switched these batteries to a "*Non- Intelligent overnight type charger"Fameart UBCK1 Universal Charger Kit + Battery Size Adapters that accepted and fully charged them with no problems.

I purchased one of these together with some rather pricey ANSMANN NiMh batteries which work well, but in line with other reviews I have problems charging 90% of other brands of rechargeable cells which are simply rejected by it's 'intelligent' recognition system. I should point out that some of my other rechargeable cells were brand new yet still fail in the unit.
I'm very disappointed and couldn't really recommend it for this reason only.

The batteries got very hot using this charger, which I know is not good for them.
I have since learned that battery life is shortened by rapid charging. whoops regret.

I have used this charger for several makes of AA and AAA batteries, with variable results. Some batteries take ages to reach fully indicated charge and others charge more quickly - I don't know why, but the results are always a fully charged battery. It will even charge old batteries that my other fast charger fails.
