This product is very simple to use, small and compact. Th econtrols are easy and setting it up is childs play. The transformation frmo colour to colour is spectacular adn provides a very useful night light for feeding a new born in the middle of the night.

However ...

... a clock that needs fresh batteries every 4 days! Come on your pulling my leg. After all the wonderful product design that has gone into it a complete and utter failure to appreciate that it will be a customers expectation that a simple battery powered clock will run for a couple of months (minimum) without the need to change batteries. 4 days!!! Despite the beauty of hte product while it has power I would not recommed this to anyone ... not even the Duracell Bunny!

The clock was fine . . . for three days. After which, the colors continued to change (indicated the batteries were still working) but the time/temperature, etc. display was no longer visible - completely useless. Do not buy.

Difficult to use, and poor display, very quiet alarm..

So all in all very poor quality of alarm clock.

I bought this as a replacement for a cheap analogue clock, the ticking of which was driving my mother quietly mad at night.

The colours, as I have observed them, are spectacularly bright and vivid, and the shape of the clock itself is pleasant enough for what it is, it is a clock not a work of art.

Contrary to what other reviewers have said, the batteries for the clock have currently lasted for 3+ months. I suspect the batteries run dry quickly only when the colour-changing back-light is left on continually but there is a setting that has the back-light turn on only briefly when the screen is pressed. It seems that this setting is what has preserved the batteries for so long (remember people, it's running on AAA not Uranium-238).

In light of the power-draining light-show, the colour-changing is more of a gimmick than a feature, so using the colour-changing lights as an actual back-light (for use when you need to see the clock in the dark), rather than a more persistent "light feature" seems wiser when concerned with battery life.

The only downside I have seen, or more specifically read, is that the instructions are indeed poorly written in English, but it's a Chinese import clock and I expect the instructions are written just as badly in every other language as well. With some experimentation the workings of the clock can be learned fairly easily.

My experience with this clock has been almost entirely positive, others seem to have not had such luck, but I hope this review has served to balance the stream of negativity that has been directed at what is in my opinion a charming digital clock.

This clock was bought as a budget gift for a friend - they told me it has annoying high pitched songs playing, ie. Lady Greensleeves, Happy Birthday etc. It changes colour - the LED goes through the spectrum, but it is battery powered so unless you want to be buying new batteries constantly, it's best switched off... It also has terrible translated instructions and is really cheap quality, the battery inlay has a panel that breaks off under the batteries!

I have to say it is not a BAD product, but definitely not the best either... Sorry, it's just cheap TATT!

looks good in picture only. cannot see anything on it until you see it from a specific angle. When you turn the alarm on it just glows and you cannot see what is the time. too sensitive, you need to adjust it again if you touch it accidentally.Only suitable for people who sit at a fixed place/angle so they can see(a statue).

I wanted this as a thermometer. I quickly ignored the clock function and set it to temperature all the time.
Also based on other reviews of poor battery life with the back light on I turned the backlight off (all the time).
It has run successfully for a few weeks now and does a reasonable job as a thermometer.
Temperature is displayed to one decimal place in degrees celcius *but* the value isn't very stable. Updates to the displayed temperature occur only one or two times a minute but when they do the temperature jumps perhaps up by 0.6C and then back down by 0.4C.
Mildly irritating it you're watching for temperature changes but not a problem if you weren't fussed on the temp to more than whole figures anyway.

When I ordered the clock I thought you could choose one of many colours for the display and did not realise that they would alternate. I find this alternating of colours prevents me from sleeping, even though it's quite nice to look at during the day and so switch it off when I go to bed, but then I can not read the clock if I wake at night as it doesn't have a plain continuous illuminated display like I thought, you can tap it and it will light up and bleep, but this wakes my husband even though it's not loud. Never mind it is still a nice clock to look at.
