My introduction to Bollywood and its diverse musical landscape began not too long ago, and because of that, I haven't seen hundreds of Bollywood films. However, I've watched 18 different movies from a variety of decades, including those scored by Ismail Darbar, A.R. Rahman, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and others, and I have to say that Pritam's work here beats them all. The movie itself is a mixed bag, but the soundtrack is amazing. Don't buy this if you're expecting more old-school, "traditional" BWood music powered by ethnic instrumentals, but if you're ready for inventive, versatile modern Indian pop beats, you'll love the heck out of this.
