This Damp Detector is an extremely sensitive instrument that can be used to check for moisture/dampness around the home. It could save you thousands in survey fees and un-foreseen remedial work to your property.
Dampness in a caravan can cause serious damage, this is the ideal tool for detecting the source of the problem. It is also useful for checking out newly plastered walls for damp before wallpapering or painting.
Slow clicking indicates a low level of moisture, while a high pitched, continuous tone indicates high levels of moisture.
This simple to use moisture meter has two hardened steel pins which are pushed into wood or other materials to be measured to obtain a reading of moisture content on the LCD screen. The pins are protected by a safety cover when not in use

Easy operation: Power the unit on, take off the cover on the probes and then insert the poles into the medium to be measured. You will instantly have a result displayed on the LCD screen. With a simple hold button you keep the results on diplay.

This damp meter is excellent value for money. Very simple to use, readings easy to read. Only adverse comment is that there are no guide lines as to the meaning of the readings. I had to do research on the internet to find the levels of dampness at which action needs to be taken, as all items contain various level of moisture.

A habitation check showed damp in my Motorhome. Had I purchased this item earlier I would have spotted the problem before it got too bad. Once ordered the detector arrived within a couple of days. Excellent service.

After the initial understanding, with the postage, the company resolved this matter quickly and couldnt have given better service, the product does exactly what it is supposed to do and is well worth the money.

Bargain Price & Simple to Use
This is a bargain price compared to others on the market and so simple to use. Just turn it on and push the prongs into whatever wood or plaster you want to test.

Damp or not
I bought this damp meter to test my campervan. It works well but is easily switched on accidentally. I remove the battery each time I use it.

Its damp somewhere!
This is light, easy to use and accurate. I used this item on a caravan that was advertised as "perfect" It was not. This damp meter saved me a lot of time and money
