The Reflex 22 5 Piece Shell Kit Drum Set is another quality product from Ddrum. This Ddrum 5-Piece Shell Kit includes a 22 x 20 kick drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8 mounted toms, a 16 x 16 floor tom, and a 14 x 6 snare. Ddrum Reflex drums sound just as amazing as they look?all while keeping the working drummer in mind to insure affordability and durability.The shells are made of 100% red alder, for distinct tone and warmth, and are wrapped in Delmar's scratch-resistant mirror-chrome finish. The dual 45 degree bearing edges each have a slight round-over, which allows total head-to-shell contact for a rich, full drum sound. Each shell features the Ddrum Face Off lug with an integrated Tuned Sustain suspension system. All shell hardware is cast or CNC machined, and is outfitted with 2.3mm heavy-duty triple-flange hoops for the ultimate in resonance and strength. Each shell is finished off with Ddrum's True Resonance drumheads to insure that the full potential of warmth and tone is achievable.The powerful, 20 inch deep bass drum is complimented by shorter tom sizes for fast response and projection,. FIRST: The 4 stars is for shipping because Amazon would let me rate their shipping and packaging!! The drum set itself gets "5 STARS"
Beautiful very professional looking set- breath taking white. The stock heads are not the best, but you shouldn't expect them to be. Although it says it doesn't come with hardware, it actually means with the hardware for the cymbals (That it 'doesn't' come with). Though, it 'does' come with all the necessary mounting brackets and lug nuts. The mounting system is quite favorable too. The only downside is it's kinda meant to mount onto a Cymbal stand- which looks the best, but your able to kind of get a small indipendant stand to work to support both drums- though the mounts seem to be on the wrong side of the drum and is almost meant to mount medium tom, to high tom, to floor tom- rather than high tom, medium tom, floor tom. Other than that conflict- It's well worth the investment!! Once you've invested in some good heads, some remo's, and some cymbals- you've got yourself an eye catching set.
Then the last part- if your ordering it from Amazon. Even Amazon prime with expected shipping (even though it's free too). It's seem like Amazon scams you and it does NOT arrive on time at all.. So be aware and PLAN accordingly.
