This is the sort of game that makes you wish that Amazon would provide a zero stars option. A shocking, shocking game - do not buy at any costs.
The concept is OK, but from the start this has amateur written all over it. The menus are clumsy and ugly, the courses are all very similar and to progress to a new track you MUST win on the previous one.
But the real let down is the game play. If you charge off the line at full speed, and make it to the last corner then make a tiny slip, the AI cars are all past you in a split second and you'll finish last. If on the other hand you take it easy, and make a sprint for it on the last lap, you should get past them all OK. In other words, the speed of the AI cars will match your own speed. Wonderful, eh ? The handling is naff - tilting the remote from side to side (longways) is very difficult and imprecise. And finally the track is ridiculously thin in places (for example crossing a 'ruler' between 2 chairs) when you conside the innaccuracies of the remote.
The AI of the other cars is either vindictive (they simply head for you as you go pass them) or just plain terrible (they drive into you as if you weren't there). It doesn't really matter which though, the end result is the same, another tumble to the floor and another restart.
In two player, they have obviously decided to make the game a little harder by making sure you can only see a laughably small distance in front of you on split screen.
Awful, possibly the most frustrating game I have played in the last 30 years.
