If you have a problem with dogs don't expect this to save you. My dog turns it's head when the Dog Dazer is used and then ignores it. When other dogs come over to meet my dog they ignore it to. Some turn their head and then they ignore it. I am concerned that some purchasers may purchase this product expecting it will help them in a dangerous dog situation, I would be surprised to hear of any attacking dog stopping it's attack due a blast of the Dog Dazer.
The instruction booklet indicates you should use the product when the dog is no more than 20 feet away and suggests it would be better at only 5 feet away. I Dog Dazed a dog at just 1 foot away, it turned it's head and then ignored it.

Excellent product which worked well when needed. On walking holiday in Turkey, guide notes warned of troublesome dog in one location and suggested use of dog scarer. The largish dog duly appeared from behind, barking loudly and when closer - now about 4ft - crouching, growling and baring its teeth, held at this short distance but not intimidated by our two outstretched walking sticks. Activation of the Dazer II had the immediate effect of causing it to retreat out of sight without further growl or bark! On the same walk, a larger but less aggressive dog was also deterred when it came too close for comfort!

The effects of this device on Dogs has been impressive. Its been in use in the shipyard in Palermo, Sicily, which has a large number of stray dogs roaming around. The response of the dogs to the dazer is instant and disperses them quickly.
It has also proved very effective on cats!

dont buy absolutely rubbish and does not work with any dog
