My daughter's Spiro had locked up and Sony Ericsson support told her she needed to update the software on it. I went to the official Sony Ericsson website, downloaded the update software but amazingly they don't seem to do the right USB cable for the SPIRO, so I searched the web. Many items came up in the search but when you read the fine print they were not compatible with the SPIRO. This was the only item I could find that actually specifically said it would do the job, so I purchased it. It arrived in good time and it worked, what more could you ask? THANKS.

I bought this as a data transfer cable to transfer mp3 files form my laptop to my Sony Ericsson Spiro phone. Cable would only ever work to charge the phone and not for data transfer. I borrowed a similar cable from a Garmin satnav and it worked perfectly. Not happy with this but not worth the effort to return it.

Doesn't work on my phone
