Product Description

Dandelion is a rosette forming, winter-green perennial found in a very wide range of habitats including wetlands, sand dunes, mountains, gardens, wasteland and pastures. The plant group has numerous micro species adapted to a variety of growing conditions. Our seed is harvested from lowland meadows. Dandelions can be a important source of nectar for bees, butterflies and hoverflies early in the year and the seed is eaten by finches. Extremely popular and nutritious grown for Tortoise food.
