4.0 out of 5 stars d20 future, 7 Nov 2004

A source book for d20 modern, d20 future allows you to play a camaign based onboard a starship, as a settler on an alien world, or in the ruins of a post-apocalyptic world. It provides easy to understand, realistic rules, equipment and settings for your campaign. This book is definately worth buying if you want a futuristic setting. The only major flaw is the lack of character sheets, although these acn be downloaded from the web.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Sourcebook, 20 Sep 2005
By Applied Vectors (Chester le Street, UK) - See all my reviews
This book is brilliant! Lacking only rules for Netrunning, it is otherwise an ideal addition to the bookshelf of a D20 Modern GM. Wizards of the Coast have excelled themselves with this supplement, it has nearly everything a science-fiction roleplayer could want - and what it doesn't have there's other books for i.e. Apocalypse and Cyberscape.
No matter what kind of campaign you want to run, (Mecha-stomping games, to techno-thriller, to hard sci-fi and so much more) there are options here.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mutants and Aliens and Mechs, oh my, 6 Jun 2005
By David Ford "avid fan" (Cheltenham) - See all my reviews

This is the fourth supplement for the d20 Modern roleplaying game. Rather than a single game world, it presents rules and settings to mix and match, enabling you to create a future world to suit you.
Among the new stuff in this book are rules for spacecraft, city-stomping mechs, cybernetic enhancements, robots (including Terminator-style characters) time and dimensional travel. The amount of information can be almost overwhelming at first, but as I said, just take what you need.
There are plenty of new advanced classes and enemies as well, although some of the latter have previously appeared in the Menace Manual. All in all, a well put-together toolbox for any GM who wants to run a future campaign or use advanced equipment in their current one.
