This compact switch is designed especially for the SoHo-range. It offers 5 10/100 MBit-connections for the workstation computer. All connections automatically detect the transmission rate (10 MBit/s or 100 Mbit/s) of the connected computer. The connections also differentiate automatically between full- and half-duplex mode and support flow-control. Flow-control according to IEEE 802.3x enables a direct connection between server and switch for a fast and reliable data transmission. With 200Mbit in full-duplex-mode this switch makes available high-speed data channels with the lowest loss rate to your server.

I needed to extend my home network so that I could work from home. Although my work laptop has wifi, the signal wasn't great in my study - so as I already had an ethernet power adapter to the study, I purchased this switch to add more ports ot the power adapter.
It works a treat - I had it installed and working within 15 minutes of the postman ringing the bell! It couldn't have been easier! Well deserved 5 stars.

Amazon Verified Purchase
This product was shipped from Germany and the box contained an EU plug, now I have to find an adaptor or alternative power cable. All unnecessary hassle for a product ordered through Amazon UK to a UK address, and where the product description/specification gave no indication that an EU plug was part of the package.
