Product Description
Until this point, electric bikes have been little more than toys - the Cyclamatic Power Plus will change that. Featuring a powerful motor that will propel you to speeds of up to 15mph with this 250 watt brushless motor (the highest legally allowed in the UK) and a battery that offers a range of in excess 45km, the Power Plus makes transportation on an electric bike a fun, cheap and practical option.
The bike can be used as a standard bike - the mountain bike frame, strong V-fork brakes, suspension and Shimano gears with quick-shift offer all the features of a premium bike. The Power Plus can be used simply as a traditional 'pedal' bike without any problems, however it also features two other modes:
Assisted mode will kick in the power as you start pedalling and add extra power to each cycle, propelling you faster and with less effort
Fully powered will take you from stationary to cruising speed at the flick of a wrist with absolutely zero leg movement
Easy to use
Quick release battery.

(under 5 mins). Quick change Shimano gears
Incredible performance

I was very doubtful about this bike when my friend said he'd bought one. I imagined it to be very old fashioned & heavy to ride.
HOW WRONG COULD I BE!!!
Not only did it look like a modern bike but the ride was FANTASTIC.
As someone who suffers with arthritis, I have found it increasingly difficult to ride a standard bike.
I now have one that allows me to gain some exercise, while enjoying the fresh air & freedom a bike can give.
If anyone is thinking about purchasing one of these bikes I couldn't recommend it more highly. It has given me so much pleasure already.
The delivery was exceptionally quick & it arrived in good order.

I bought this bike as I needed to get more exercise on account of being overweight and having diabetes, and my old "supermarket special" was rubbish
So today I took my first ride, we live on the Oldham - Manchester Hill. So off I went to see what this would do. I was very impressed. First up hill to Oldham, 5 miles, no problem the battery assist took care of the hill and I did not need to change gear.
Next down the hill to Manchester, an enjoyable ride, the battery assist was very good when moving off from a traffic light and getting up to speed the 10 mile trip was easy.
Then back home 5 miles up hill back to the battery, and no problem, finally used the battery only and it worked fine, surprised a few people going up hill with out peddling.
The only down side, the saddle is hard, and the roads of Manchester are bumpy. The front suspension is fine, but I missed the rear suspension of my "supermarket special" . An easy fix and I have just ordered A sprung saddle, and expect many hours of fun, and savings on petrol as I will not be needing the car as much as I zip about on this very nice piece of kit.
The battery was 9amp not 8 as advertised, and I used less then 1/3 of the power on my test today.

After I took delivery of the bike I noticed the gears had been damaged in transit and initially was more than disappointed. However, through the Amazon team and particularly Sports HQ, the damage issue has been rapidly resolved and the bike itself I would recommend to anyone.
I suffer with bad arthritis and now find riding my normal bike increasingly difficult if not impossible. The Cyclamatic has just given me the ability to cycle once again and seems well built and is a wonderful bit of kit.
I would like to know how much a replacement battery is and how long with fairly regular use the original battery is likely to last?

Speedy Granny!
