    Fantastic piece of software for the beginner! it contains all the features and functions you could possibly need. Other stuff is just too expensive but at this price i'll take two!

    Not wonderful but not dreadful either. It feels like a lot of effort has been put into this product and the interface and controls are very good now, very slick. Everything works fine even for big multi-gigabyte files.
    There is only one real area of complaint - the production stage. It is difficult to get a really good result at pal resolution and there is not really enough control. The real problems though are in the compression stage, compression is not quite high enough, there is little help and the controls are not very straightforward. By far the biggest complaint though is the speed of production which is -v-e-r-y- slow, real time or slower. This isn't a problem with a thirty second clip, but taking the adverts out of a movie or special event will take several hours or more (and the new shorter version of the file is often actually bigger). There is no simple option to produce using the parameters of the original clip which is enormously frustrating.
    Still a very good product compared to some editors.

    This is the first editing software i've used. It came free with my Nisis DV4 video camera (you can buy it on Amazon) and it's very easy to use and the finished production looks very proffesional.
