I downloaded the trial for this at first and thought it was good. However i couldnt watch blu ray 3d. So thought that it was just because its a trial.
So I bought the full version(mark 2) but there was still no blu ray 3d. Then after extensive research i discovered you cant convert 2d blu ray movies to 3d. You havew to buy a blu ray 3d disk, which i didnt even know existed.
However this is my fault for not doing enough research. I would have bought this anyway because I need it.
Converting 2d dvds to 3d works ok. It better than watching them 2d. However with the nvidia glasses, they are quite heavy to wear and dont fit very well. But im not reviewing 3d vision kit so ill stop there.
Overall very good product.
Download the trial first however as it is exactly the same as the full version apart from the full version is mark II, so it supports a few more file types.
A trailer of a 3d film comes with this showing you what is to come in the near future. Absolutly amazing to look at this trailer was!

When considering buying this as an update to v7 I was in two minds having read the various reviews here.
Thankfully I ordered it. The install had no issues at all and took around 15 minutes including my incorrect input of the authorisation code.
The software is excellent and a noticeable improvement on the earlier version I was using.
Blue Ray quality is excellent and sound is as I would hope for on a surround system (Music DVD's especialy good). Blue Rays load very quickly and the software has not struggled with discs that were previously unpredictable for loading.
DVD quality vastly improved with this software. Great level of detail found giving them a new lease of life.
I would certainly recommend it.

I've been using powerDVD for many years, since version 5.
I upgraded to version 10 from Version 8.
I use it mainly for watching blu-rays, which it does very well.
The one minor annoyance with version 10 is MoovieLive, I don't use this feature at all, but when you start the program its always the first thing to be displayed, along with a few adverts, much prefer just the plain old simple PowerDVD welcome screen.
