Excellent light and quick recharge using winder only takes 10 or 20 seconds to get a strong light from scatch.
I notice one person had mentioned the handle breaking on them - its true that this handle can break - ours did too, BUT . .
A great tip for you here - The underside of the handle has deep grooves in it, presumable to reduce weight ?? - so even if broken, all you have to do is mix a batch of Araldite and fill those grooves !! Use tape to keep the broken handle parts held together.
Once hardened, we needed to file off the excess araldite around where this break was, but it is solid as a rock and has kept going strong with no other sign of trouble !
It was repaired two years ago and it survived a 3 week safari holiday in Kenya.
You'll be pleased with it.
We just wonder why they did not make a solid plastic handle in the 1st place as the rest of this torch has remained - dare we say - "indestructable" ?

A really good torch, comfy to carry and use and perfect for short range lighting where we live, as there's no street lighting. Recommended.Published 13 months ago by Reviewer

For what it is used for, a backup source of light in an outside shed, this works very well. Needs only a minor amount of winding with a fairly bright light.Published 15 months ago by Patrick Mullane
