Entertaining dose of whacky humour that everyone who has experienced life in the Welsh valleys will be able to connect with. --Review South Wales

Product Description

Cwmtwp combines Welsh Valleys humour with the hilarious parody of local newspapers. It is well into the future and archaeologist Nigel is given a mysterious object called a CD-ROM which is found to contain a village newsletter called What's On in Cwmtwp. Packed full of jockes Cwmtwp is by the same author as best-selling Welsh Valleys Humour.

A RIOTOUS LAUGH 2 Dec 2009
Format:Paperback
I STRONGLY advise that you stock up with all manner of tissues and handkerchiefs before you dare read this truly hilarious account of life in a Welsh valley town. Even then, it might be wise to place a large bowl in reaching distance.

Unless you're as hard as rock - or unable to read a solitary word of English - tears of unbridled laughter will cascade like a human waterfall and wash away all thoughts of gloom and depression.

It would come as no surprise if the medical profession sought to have it banned from bookstalls, as patients with brittle bones could so easily fracture ribs in the ceaseless and uncontrollable heaving, as one ludicrous story follows another.

Definitely a book to cheer the cheerless... Just buy it and enjoy a riotous laugh!

Are you someone who enjoys reading local gossip? If so, I think you'll like this, and more than 'just a bit'. Cwmtwp (a village not very far from any Welsh person's ken) is a hive of activity, and it's all documented in the local rag "What's on in Cwmtwp".
Where else can you get sociology, archaeology, paleontology (plus any other 'ology you care to name)and an 'Ask Dai' column as well?
On the fourth reading, I'm still sniggering, chortling and laughing out loud. Well worth getting yourself a copy, and investing in a few as stocking fillers. David Jandrell - you've done it again! Ta very much buttie!!
